Mental Maths Coaching
My specialism in practical mental maths: I train professionals and students to calculate with numbers fluently in their head, so they can perform their job better, or study more effectively, or negotiate deals, or ace interviews, and in all cases feel confident when numbers are involved. I’ve also given many classes in advanced mental calculation, for example to multiply and divide numbers, perform square roots and calculate calendar dates.
Students typically require a small number of classes to assess their current level and share the training methods that are most relevant. After this, ongoing email support can be arranged.

Corporate and Academic Workshops
I deliver interactive group workshops, typically as training for corporate teams of professionals, or for academic organizations, including Summer Schools. The two standard workshops are:
- Practical Mental Maths (most suitable for professionals)
- Advanced Memory and Calculation (most suitable for extracurricular interest)
These can be modified to suit your audience’s needs, and can be online or in person subject to availability. Please contact me directly to arrange.

Events and Competitions
Since 2018 I’ve been involved in the Junior Mental Calculation World Championship, including providing the technology to run this both this event, and the Mind Sports Olympiad, online during the pandemic.
