Hopak is a traditional dance from Ukraine where the men do impressive gymnastic tricks in time with the music. It’s often referred to as “cossack dancing”.
Virsky is a dance troupe from Ukraine that performs their choreography of the Hopak dance to a high standard, and for some reason I decided to create a piano arrangement of this – Enjoy!
